As a young Christian girl I first found out about Proverbs 31 and I always read it since then. It has what inspired me to a woman after God's own heart. When I first started studying it was so difficult for me to apply, I was so caught up the terms of it, I was having trouble applying it to my life. For you guys, and myself to, I decided to break it down, and give examples of how to live like an amazing woman. I am no where close to being a perfect woman, or even a theologian, but this is what I got out of this amazing passage. In verse 10 the writer of the book of Proverbs who is King Solomon started off by saying "Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies." To me this means that a woman of virtue and a wife that embodies these characterstics is someone that is extremely valuable.A woman with a heart like God isn't easily found and something that isn't easily found is extremely valuable. I feel like that's what can Solomon was trying to say, when you give your heart to God you become rare.
With rarity and uniqueness comes a value about you and that's what makes you so desirable and people can't easily let go of you. Over the next week I will be breaking it down verse by verse, so stay tuned! Love you guys, and praying for you.
